SAFRP was asked by Jacaranda camp to please remove the pigs from the property because they did not have permission from the owner or the facilities or food to keep them. I asked for a letter to be sent to me formally asking our assistance. The agreement was that we as an organization house feed and look after the pigs for the camp and they will in return still reap the benefits of any future sale or meat from the pigs. The pigs were not sold to us we are simply assisting the camp. This is a public attack on me personally and our organization. We all work very, very hard and we would never take from the poor to enrich ourselves. Allot of people know me and what we stand for. I ask all of you to please bare with me as we sort this issue out. You will all be updated on everything. Thank you everyone. Leigh xx

Happy Heritage Day to everyone at SAFRP! Please think of the people that will not be able to celebrate and feed their families today. Our Culture means the world to us and part of that culture is to give to your community. Have a blessed day everyone, love each other and let us all be thankful for still having the gift of family and tradition. Leigh xx

Hi everyone. This is something that I do not want to talk about but I have too. SAFRP are so unbelievably thankful for every donation that we receive how ever, I would like to ask our donor's who donate goods to please make sure of the following. 1. Any clothing that is donated to be clean. We do not have the time or sorceress to wash all the clothing and we cannot hand over soiled underwear and dirty clothing to people who are already down trodden 2. Any food must be checked that it is still safe to donate, we received food that was past the sell by date 5 years! When the tins were opened at the camp the food was rotten. This poses a health hazard. We cannot afford for people or even children to get food poisoning. We have to look after the safety of these folk and I am sure that all of you would agree. Thank you very, very much for your continued support. Leigh xo

This is our Christmas Office Challenge. SAFRP challenges all offices to collect as much tin food as possible! We are aiming at 100 tins per food item to ensure that we can give out food parcels at Christmas time. Please put a box in your office and anyone that would like to donate a tin or two or more can drop it into the box. Please send us a photo of your office group to enter and quote : Office Challenge with your company name and area and the office that collected the most tins will receive PIZZA for everyone in that office! Come on everyone lets all do this it is for a great cause!Thank you Leigh xx
Hi everyone our Jakaranda camp still has people in tents, it is the rainy season and we decided to buy two Wendy huts to help. We do however need your help. Each Wendy costs R4000 about 301$ US. This is a small amount to give a person a roof over their heads. Please support this initiative and donate. Thank you, Leigh xo
