As you all know we are focusing on skills devolment at our Farm Project. We have been so blessed by the Mace & Goosen families that bought these block making machines, paid for the sand and Cement to start producing the blocks and fixed our bakkie's front suspension 😘 The men cannot wait to start. URGENT! Arghhhh everyone is sick at our Farm Project. Even my hubby. One of the children brought a tummy bug from school and all the other children and some adults got ill. They are throwing up and tummy runs. No meds. We are washing linen and trying to keep everyone hydrated. If there is anyone that can give me advice with home remedies please let me know ASAP. What a wonderful day! Thank you to Athelé Oosterbroek from KnitASquare for giving each child a blanket, beanie and hand warmers. We made a huge pot of nice warm soup and served the children with juice and soup and bread. What a tremendous blessing!
We where up early this morning preparing a lovely soup to feed 70 children in our community today. KnitASquare is going to hand out knitted blankets and beanies to the children.
Our vegetable tunnel ready for new vegetable seedlings 🌱 We took out all the old stuff and worked in some chicken manure and extra food for the soil so that our vegetables can grow beautiful again. The men have been working hard today (with the help of some youngsters) on The Farm Project, to prepare an area to start making bricks in anticipation of the Brick Making Machines. We are so grateful for these amazing folks on the farm that never sit around and wait for hand outs. They work tirelessly to create job opportunities to ensure a better future for themselves and their children ❤️🙏🏻
