An Update: An Update: Thank you to Gerard Guinee from Lions Club for the gift to Lisa. We were able to pay for her registration fees. Its a bit late for the all the modules but she can already catch up on two modules and is registered for the other modules for the second semester. Thank you for making it possible for her to pay the minimum registration fees that needed to be paid for her to continue her studies. Regards, Audrey Hi Everyone, we are looking for someone that can sponsor or pay for study fees and text books for a single mother of two minor children. If anyone is willing and able to help this lady, please contact us or make a financial donation. This is her story: A 30year old single mother Lisa of two children aged 1 and 2 in Pretoria, has come a long way from being disempowered by her ex-partner and her situation that she and her children have come from. She is a true survivor even though she wouldn’t openly admit it. She has slowly started rebuilding her life so that she can ensure a better and brighter future for her children and herself by educating herself further. The mother has been providing food and shelter for them on whatever income she has been able to get together during the last period. In the past, her salary was enough to adequately provide for her children. However, as of last year April when the father left the picture when her youngest was only 3 months old and hasn’t contributed towards the children in any form since leaving them destitute. This has put her in a difficult situation, as her children come first in her life and she would do anything to make sure they're cared for above and beyond anything else, usually sacrificing her own needs and dreams. Lisa has realised that she needs to complete her degree to be able to better provide for her family in the near future. She has completed half the modules towards her degree but due to severe financial hardship she is no longer able to meet the cost of tuition and learning materials to afford her the opportunity to complete her degree. She has received confirmation to continue her studies but needs to pay the minimum study fees to start. She has no means of being able to pay for her studies currently or purchase text books that she needs. We are asking everyone to share this post and/or help if you are able to. As everyone needs a helping hand when they have fallen to stand up and dust themselves off. If you would like to make a financial contribution or sponsor her studies please contact us on office.safrp@gmail.com, inbox us or make a donation. Account name: South African Family Relief Project Bank: First National Bank Account number: 6253 480 1651 Branch code: 260 23 100 Account type: Transmission/Cheque Swift Code: FIRNZAJJ Reference: Lisa’s Study Fees Please send proof of payment to office.safrp@gmail.com Your donation will be able to help this family lift themselves out of poverty and into a happier and better place for their future. Thank you to our generous donors that contributed to the retaining wall project at Munsieville. We finished building the wall this weekend. Now the flood water will not effect the residents homes anymore, they can sleep better at night knowing they dont have to salvage what little belongings they have at night when it rains. The left over building material has been used to build the School project's walls a bit higher. The SAFRP Team

Update on Our Farm Project: We have managed to raise R150 000 so far. Thank you to our donors for their support and donations, we are that much closer to getting our project off the ground. We have found a property in Gauteng that meets all the needs for our Farm Project, however we need R550 000 to secure the land for the SAFRP Farm Project and cover transfer costs. Details on the land in question: The land has a borehole, three outbuildings and a house that has unfortunately been vandalised, there is electricity to the farm but the cable has been stollen, it is 8.7 hectre land. The soil is rich for planting. Perfect for our project, because our aim is to have 20 families living on our Farm project. We don't want to miss out on obtaining this property, as it is going at such a low price. Please we need donations and your support to secure the land. Visit our website on www.safrpsa.org and click on the donate button.
