It is becoming more and more difficult for us to cope. We have always tried to pick up goods donations or at least try to. With the latest economic growth or lack of it, the high fuel costs and the food prices we are not able to collect any longer. Leigh has been trying her best to try but it is no longer possible. It is spring and this morning we woke up to new chicks on our Farm Project. The twin goats are doing great and we are waiting for the ducklings to hatch. Our tomatoes are in bloom and the veggie tunnel is doing great. Our calf is happy and full of life. Everyone is working in the gardens today.
Are there perhaps any plumbers on the page? One of the families we are assisting has had their geyser burst, we are currently trying to source one, but my request is that once we get one is there a plumber who is willing to help put it in? This is for a single mom and her kids. She is based in Roodepoort, and I am not sure when the installation will take place as we are still looking for a geyser. Hi everyone, we are starting to plan our big Children's Christmas party. This year we will be having the party in a poor community called Daspoort in Pretoria. Santa will be visiting this community on his sled and the children will be treated with gifts, hot dogs, cupcakes, sweety packs and juice.
