The men are out working today and our woman had to go and chop wood to make a fire in order to bake our bread! So proud of these women. How many out there take electricity and what they have for granted. Not one of them will complain. These women are my heroes today! Well done girls!

I just want to say a big thank you my amazing hubby Marius du Preez and to all our ladies at our Farm Project who baked me a birthday cake out of their own. I am so blessed to have you in my life. You really made my day so special. I am so proud of you for doing it all on your own and suprising me. You did a great job! Thank you Annemarie and Lizelle who worked so hard to do the baking.

Last week we had to skip a full Sunday lunch but this week we have our next couple Marius and Tasha Olivier who served us with a lovely meal of rice, sweet carrots, boereboontjies, herb roasted chicken and baked potatoes. They also made a baked vanilla syrup pudding that was delicious. Well done you two. Very proud of you.
Homemade marmelade and freshly baked bread by our ladies at our Farm Project. I am so super proud and the marmelade came out so yummy! Can't get any better than real homemade food and preserves.
We would like to thank Sean Ledden and everyone at his company with this amazing gift of food, nappies and formula for the children. We are truly very thankful.

Update our Couples Cooking Competition: Hi everyone, last Sunday Alet and Flippie cooked an amazing lunch. They served marinated barbecued chicken with vegetables and for dessert they baked a wonderful traditional Sago pudding. Well done so proud of you.
