Crystle Engelbrecht is asking for help - Good morning. I am so desperate for help. My husband is self employed and we live in Anerley on the South coast. We have 4 children age 15, 6, and 4. We've had to move from a furnished flat as we haven't been able to pay rent for 2 months and we are moving to a house that we are allowed to stay rent free so to look after as it's being vandalized. Want to sincerely thank Lenel Cotty Wessels and all her friends / family / contacts for their contribution of food and toys today. It was delivered today at the old mine hostels in Odendaalsrus together with a few pieces of clothing we had "in stock". there are 25 families living in need in these hostels - they have nowhere else to go and live in fear of eviction everyday. They were left without water for 2 years as per one of the residents but luckily the mine has found it in their harts to restore this lately, however apparently there is a feud between the mine and the municipality about this issue and various others concerning these "residents" This is what i could gather today from them. we are in the process of gathering the information in a respectful way as we learned that there is a dire need for food in some hennenman households and also in welkom. What we urgently need is the essentials pls - canned foods and other non-perishables, baby products, lennon products, toiletries. If I may suggest a list of basics, food being the most important. Dry and tinned vegetables and meats. SugarRice, samp, mielie rice, beans, Flour,oil. Spreads for sandwiches, Klim or Nespray milk, baby formula,peanut butter, syrup, jam, bovril. Soya mince, oats, mielie meal, weetbix, nappies from birth to 18 months, bathsoap, dishliquid, sunlight (green) soap, washing powder, vim, toothpaste, roll-ons, shampoo, skin lotions, toilet paper, dishcloths, swabs, pens pencils and books for kids.

As you all know we will be taking the donations through to the Umtentwini shelter today. We have a very kind man taking the stuff through on his bakkie and he needs us to pay the petrol. It is a way to drive from Umkomaas to Port Shepstone and we R500 to get the stuff there and come back PLEASE we need donations so that we can deliver the goods to the babies.
